Fryer takes second in Lean Horse 100 Ultra Marathon

Tim Fryer had some beautiful scenery on the course of the Lean Horse 100 Ultra Marathon held in Custer, South Dakota. Fryer took second place in the 100-mile race.

At 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, Tim Fryer stood with 69 other runners at the starting line in Custer, South Dakaota ready to begin the Lean Horse 100 Mile Ultra Marathon. A little over 19 hours later, he finished in second place.
The terrain of the race wasn’t new to Fryer—he has run the Lean Horse 30K twice, and last year, took fifth place in the Lean Horse 50 Mile Ultra Marathon.
