Construction began last week on the first of four cabins that are being installed at the Hendricks Campground. The cabins will be two different sizes, with two of the cabins at 336 square feet and the others 420 square feet. All are being constructed on gravel pads. The cabins will not have water; however, the shower and restroom facilities are nearby. All cabins will have electricity, air conditioning and baseboard heat, have two rooms, and sleep four to six people with two sets of bunkbeds in the back room and a full-size bed in the front room of two of the cabins. In the handicap-accessible cabins, there will be a single bed and a set of bunkbeds in the back room and a full-size bed in the front room.
