Doctors recommend to get your flu shot if you haven’t had it already

Influenza, which has many different types but is most com­monly referred to as “the flu,” is, according to the Minnesota Department of Health website, widespread, with 2,915 hospital­izations in the state between the dates of Oct. 1, 2017 and Jan. 20, 2018.
“I recommend getting your flu shot if you have not had one,” said Dr. Tabb McCluskey, Medical Di­rector of the Hendricks Commu­nity Hospital Association. “And if you think you have symptoms of the flu to come in within 48 hours to get an antiviral.”
