School board discusses updating front entrance to enhance safety

The Hendricks School Board discussed sports pairing at their last meeting.

In the wake of the most recent school shootings, while the Hendricks School Board does not anticipate the likelihood of an event like that in Hendricks, the board discussed providing ALICE training to staff and students, and updating the front entrance to enhance the safety of the school.
ALICE training is provided at age-appropriate levels to the students and staff, and teaches them how to respond if there is an active shooter in the school…
