After receiving reports of dogs biting people in town, the Hendricks City Council reviewed the pet ordinance, also discussing the enforcement licensing dogs in town.
The council discussed the need for pet owners to control their dogs. A dog that bites someone will be labeled potentially dangerous or dangerous.
The council also discussed fining pet owners who have dogs that are not licensed.
A copy of the pet ordinance is available upon request at City Hall.
