Last week, Clarence “Chris” Hoversten was recognized at the Hendricks Golf Club’s annual meeting by the members there and the United States Golf Association (USGA), with a personal letter from Mike Davis, CEO of the USGA, acknowledging Hoversten’s milestone birthday and his being an example of a “lifetime of joy and involvement of the game.” Davis congratulated Hoversten on his birthday and passion for the game of golf.
Hoversten was presented with a plaque from the HGC Board, that will hang on the wall at the Clubhouse on their Wall of Fame. A video of the presentation of the awards can be viewed on the Hendricks Pioneer’s Facebook page.
