Minnesota passes new law to protect Minnesotans with chronic illnesses

According to a recent press release, Governor Dayton recently signed into law HF 3196, a bill that will potentially pro­tect thousands of Minneso­tans with chronic illnesses from long and drawn out try-and-fail prescription practices. This law places strong patient protections around step-therapy, the practice that takes medical treatment out of the hands of medical professionals and places it into the hands of insurance companies.
