Norwegians’ fascination with Hendricks brings them back

Arne Dragasoien and Knut Engesmo, both from Norway, recently spent a couple of weeks in Hendricks. This trip to Hendricks marked the tenth time for Arne and the ninth for Knut.
“We’re already talking about coming back,” Arne said, the day they left for Minneapolis to catch their flight back home. Their daughters are coming to Hendricks in July.
Arne’s mother was a second cousin of Kenny Sommervold. Knut is related to the Engesmoes in Hendricks. “That is the original reason we started coming to Hendricks,” Arne said.
