A dedication event honoring former long-time Lincoln County Historical Society Board Member Trygve Trooien was held Wednesday, July 4 in the north exhibit building where the agricultural exhibits are housed. As the crowd gathered and waited for the event to begin, some browsed the exhibits while others looked through a scrapbook of news clippings that all spoke of Trygve. A laptop with a photo slideshow featuring Trygve and his threshing bees sat on a counter, and the plaque that was handmade by friend and former co-board member Dean Janiszeski hung on the wall, under cover until the “big reveal.”
