Across the country, many of us started our Thanksgiving celebration by watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 92nd parade entertained 3.5 million spectators on the streets of Manhattan and over 50 million television viewers. The parade included 59 balloons, 26 floats, 1,200 cheerleaders and dancers, 12 marching bands and over 1,000 clowns.
What would it be like to actually see the wonders of this famous parade in person? Sheila Fuller and her daughter, Lita Fryer, can tell you firsthand. They were standing three-deep, right in front of Macy’s Department Store during the two-hour parade.
