Hendricks City Council goes into closed session at Monday’s meeting

The Hendricks City Council met Monday evening, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. with Mayor Julie Hogie presiding. Following the flag pledge, the minutes of the March 4, 2019 meeting and the evening’s agenda were approved.
There was no public forum.
City Administrator David Blees gave an update on the East Expansion construction project. He said digging has begun on the lift station.
City Attorney John Engels gave a golf cart ordinance update. The ordinance is necessary to address the interests of public safety. Engels said if the golf carts have proper tail lights, headlights and brake lights, they can drive after dark.
