On Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Hendricks Community Hospital hosted a pre-Halloween event. Boo to the Flu/Trunk-or-Treat featured a lot of decorated trunks in the parking lot of HCH. Treating yourself to a healthier flu season was the price of admission.
Kathy Harris, lab manager at the hospital, is new in Hendricks. They used to have Trunk-or-Treating in North Dakota, where she came from, so she decided to give it a try in Hendricks. She heard nothing but positive results. The parents and kids were excited it was held during daylight hours. Harris said there were 13 trunks and about 100 kids who came through.
