Hendricks Public School is hosting David Geister on March 31 in the Distance Learning Center.

Terri DeGezelle Michels and David Geister were selected for the traveling author visits for the Children’s Author and Illustrator Program coordinated by the SWWC Service Cooperative’s Student Activities Department. This program brings children’s authors or illustrators into local elementary classrooms. It gives students a chance to connect with a published author or an established illustrator. Presenters show students what it takes to become a writer, how to generate ideas, inspirations, challenges and successes. The residencies were held during the week of March 25-29 and April 8-12, 2019.
