This Ol’ Place Thrift Shop in Hendricks, operated by the Hendricks Hospital Auxiliary, has donated thousands of dollars toward valuable equipment for the Hendricks Community Hospital.
Now the all-volunteer organization has raised that tally again with the purchase of two Lifepax 20e Heart Monitors, a Triple IV Infusion Pump and a new fast and accurate weight scale.
Director of Nursing Dave McCormick, RN, said they have wanted a small Triple IV pump for use in the ambulance and emergency room. “We had three large separate pumps. Now it is combined into one small one.” McCormick said, “and it is safer for patients.”
