The 25th annual Benton- Fremont/Te Tonka Ha Rendezvous took place in LakeBenton this past weekend. Although the weather was not the most cooperative, those who attended the event enjoyed the food, fun, and festivities.
Demonstrations took place on Saturday morning. Dick Berreth from near White, South Dakota, taught visitors about building canoes out of birchbark in the traditional way of the Native Americans.
