Old Community Center’s future discussed at council meeting

The City of Lake Ben­ton met for their regular meeting on Monday eve­ning. During the meeting, Police Chief Tony Sievert presented his police re­port. The LBPD attended 61 calls during the month of July. There were 22 traffic calls, 10 public as­sist calls, seven calls to assist another agency, and six calls concerning suspected criminal activ­ity. There were three ani­mal complaint calls, and two calls of each type fu­neral escort, driving com­plaints, and for South­west Health and Human Services. There was one call of each of the follow­ing types: an ambulance call, a theft, a DWI, a war­rant for arrest, a traffic crash, a burglary, and a verbal argument.
