The 2017 RTR Football Team will be doing something quite different this coming season. They will be playing a nine-man schedule as the result of lower numbers out for the sport. This nine-man schedule of games will be played for at least two seasons.
Head Coach Josh Fredrickson, along with assistants Ted Kern, Kent Mikkelsen, Granger Maranell and Darren Baartman, will try to make sure there are only nine men on the field at any given time.
The Knights will try to improve on a record of 3-6 from last year, which were the first wins for the Knights in four years. The key losses from last year are Tate Thooft and Jayden Strand.
