A bit of history restored over the weekend

For over 100 years the familiar sounds of the church bell at Danebod Lutheran Church in Tyler could be heard throughout the village. In recent years however, due to wear and tear and natural aging, the bell had mostly fallen silent. Through the efforts of a Delta Airlines operations analyst living in St. Paul and a team of local workers, the once familiar peals will be heard again.
Rus Weikle, a Fairfax native now living in the Twin Cities is no stranger to Tyler. He has been a regular attendee at the annual Danebod Family Camps in the past summers…
