Beginning this fall at RTR High School, Avera Tyler will be providing a new athletic trainer who will be present at all games and practices for Knight teams throughout the year. Aaron Sattler of Big Stone Therapies has been hired at no expense to the district to provide on-the-spot services to deal with sports injuries.
Avera Tyler Administrator Allen Anderson said the service has been successfully implemented over the past few years at Marshall, Wabasso, Lakeview and Minneota.
“We wanted to expand that service to RTR,” Anderson said. “It is a big commitment to the school, to the community, to the kids.”
