Jan. 31, 1937 – Aug. 31, 2017

Nola Joy Olson was born Jan. 31, 1937 in Tyler to Harry and Agnes Johnson of rural Arco, and passed away Aug. 31 in Andover.
Joy was her middle name, but also a great description of her personality. She and her parents moved to rural Tyler in 1940 and lived there with her sisters Audrey and Carol and her brother Rolland until graduation from Tyler High School in 1954. She had four children— Terry, Vicki, Randy and Robin, seven stepchildren, and two adopted children from Viet Nam, 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren. Through the years she lived in Minneapolis, Kansas City, New York state, St. Paul, Rapid City, California, Utah, and Nevada before returning to Minnesota in 1986. Nola loved music, singing and playing both piano and cornet, and was a gifted secretary/administrative assistant.
She is survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren, cousins and many friends, and will be greatly missed by all.
