Memorial services for Michael Dahl, age 64 of Ty­ler, are Wednesday, July 25, 11 a.m. at Tyler Alliance Church in Tyler. Visitation with viewing was Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at Tyler Alliance Church. Burial will be in Danebod Cemetery at a later date.
He died Thursday, July 19 at Avera Tyler Hospital in Tyler.

Michael Allen Dahl was born July 19, 1954 to Je­rome and Barb (Holmes) Dahl in Tyler. He attended school in Tyler, graduating from Tyler High School in 1972. In 1975 he worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad, after which he began a 42-year career as a truck driver, most re­cently driving for Ander­son Trucking of Brandon, South Dakota.
On May 30, 2007 Mike married Diane Hagberg in San Francisco, California. On May 30 of this year, Mike and Diane celebrated their 11 years together with a renewal of their vows. Mike and Diane en­joyed many trucking trips across the country—Mike drove and Diane assisted with the navigating and bookkeeping. Mike was diagnosed with liver can­cer on Dec. 27, 2017. He passed away on his 64th birthday, July 19, at Avera Tyler Hospital in Tyler.
Mike was a member of Tyler Alliance Church. He enjoyed playing pool, demolition derbies, fish­ing, playing with his kids and grandkids, seeing the country, and watching people. He had great fun with his wife in San Fran­cisco, in the ocean and on the trolley cars.
Mike is lovingly remem­bered by his wife Diane; his children—Ashley Dahl of Little Falls, Brittany Dahl of Little Falls, Casey Dahl of Little Falls, and Mikey Dahl of Minneapolis; three grandchildren—Brayden Mead, Layla Dumler and Parker Dumler; his moth­er Barb Dahl of Tyler; a brother, Bruce (Barb) Dahl of Tyler; a sister, Susan Rutledge of Lewistown, Montana; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jerome Dahl, brother Jerry Dahl, grand­parents Grace and Chris Dahl and Art and Tiny Hol­mes, uncle Elsworth Holm­es; aunts Grace Dahlin and Marylon Robertson, sister-in-law Gail Marie Dahl, and his niece and godchild, Jes­sica Williams.
