NOTICE: Please join us for our Saddle Horse Holiday “Stationary Parade,” Saturday, June 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Lake Benton, MN. Parade entries will be parked along Benton Street, on the north side, starting at the football field going east toward downtown. Spectators will drive by in their vehicles, from west to east, to view the parade. Parade lineup starting at 4 p.m. on Lincoln Street, located near the old elevator site across from the Lumberyard. Attendants will be available to help direct parade entries into locations along Benton Street. Benton Street will be one way traffic (west to east) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the parade. Parade entrants are asked to remain in/on your float or vehicle during the parade and to exercise proper social distancing. No candy or giveaways permitted during the parade. Prizes will be awarded in 3 categories: Vintage Car, Vintage Tractor and the Mayor’s Choice. We look forward to having you join us for this innovative parade event. Spectator vehicles can lineup starting at 5 p.m. along Russell Zimmer Drive, near the Hole in the Mountain Park (take US Highway 14 west and turn left (south) onto Russell Zimmer Drive). Spectators are asked to remain in their vehicles. No pedestrian traffic allowed on Benton Street during the parade.
