HELP WANTED: A.C.E. of SW Minnesota is looking for an Aging & Volunteer Services Coordinator for its Lincoln County office located in Ivanhoe MN. This position is responsible for the continued development and enhancement of A.C.E.’s volunteer-based programs, the Caregiver Respite & Counseling program, and the evidence-based Health Promotion programs that A.C.E. currently oversees. In time, position responsibilities will expand to include dementia education and services as well.  Minimum qualifications include possession of a HS diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years experience in transferable job skills, valid MN Driver’s License, and a vehicle for travel within the Lincoln County service area. This is a 29 hour per week position, with a matching retirement benefit option. Starting wage is $13.00/hr. which is negotiable based on applicant qualifications and related job experience. An increase in hourly wage will be granted upon the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period. The potential for more weekly hours is highly probable. THANK YOU: We wish to extend a huge thank you to the many who helped and supported us at the time of Sonny’s stay in the nursing home, when he fell and broke his hip and at the time of his departure to his heavenly home with the Lord. A special thank you to the nursing home staff, kitchen staff, hospital staff, ambulance crew, and the hospice group. We are so blessed to have a great hospice group in Tyler. Thank you Hartquist Funeral Home and Danebod Church.
